Annual Report 2022

In 2022, under EIOPA’s chairmanship, the Joint Committee continued to play a coordinating role to facilitate discussions and the exchange of information across the three ESAs, the European Commission and the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB).

The Report on EIOPA Supervisory Activities in 2022 presents how EIOPA contributed during 2022 to enhance the common European supervisory culture and promoted consistent supervisory practices both from a prudential and conduct of business supervision perspective.

In line with EIOPA’s mandate to build a common supervisory culture and consistent supervisory practices in the European Union, the Supervisory Convergence Plan identifies EIOPA’s three main priorities to enhance supervisory convergence over the course of 2023.
