EIOPA is planning a series of short events, each of them covering specific aspects related to the ‘Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive’.
The first online event ‘General aspects of the IRRD’ will take place on Friday, 29 November, 11:00-12:30 CET.
The IRRD adoption process is coming to an end. Indeed, with the Parliament’s vote on 24 April, the text can be considered stable. Pending the last steps of the legislative process it can be assumed that the IRRD will enter into force in the coming months.
The series of events seek to inform about what the IRRD will bring and engage in a dialogue on the challenges and opportunities with stakeholders. Each topic will be briefly introduced, allowing for sufficient time for discussion or questions.
