Biography
Stavros Konstantas is currently Director of the Insurance Supervision of the Bank of Greece and member of the Credit and Insurance Committee of the Bank of Greece.
Before, from 1991 until 2022, Stavros worked a Manager and C-Level Executive in multiple roles in the Hellenic Insurance Industry. He also used to serve as a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Actuarial Society and of the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies. Stavros holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Athens, a Certificate of Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens and is a Fellow of the Hellenic Actuarial Society.
