EIOPA is an autonomous EU Agency and has therefore its own Financial Regulation and Financial Implementing Rules​.​

The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority adopted by analogy the Title V “Procurement” of the Financial Regulation​ applicable to the general budget of the Union and its rules of application - Regulation (EU,Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and the Council of 25 October 2012, as amended by Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2015/1929 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 October 2015 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1268/2012​ of 29 October 2012, as amended by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2462 of 30 October 2015.

To develop market knowledge and thus gain better understanding of the terms and conditions usually applied to contracts in a relevant market, EIOPA is organising meetings with all interested parties in the respective market. Should you wish to present your company, please contact us as instructed below to arrange an appointment. Please note that EIOPA will only accept meeting requests related to the subjects below.​

Inter-Institutional calls for tender

The main reason for inter-institutional cooperation in procurement lies in the potential economies of scale by pooling the purchasing power and the resources of the European Institutions, Agencies or other bodies involved.

The lead institution will be the sole representative of the contracting authorities during the procurement procedure up to signature of the contract.​​​​
